Custom newborn announcements! { Tulsa newborn photographer}

I am a bit of a paper nerd. Meaning that I LOVE to design and order newborn announcement cards for my clients to mail out.

Just one more thing for a new mama to check off her to do list:-)

Here is an example of a recent card.

Such a fun way to introduce your newest bundle of joy to the world!

It is hard to believe this little beauty arrived a whopping 5 weeks early!!

Perfectly healthy and happy… weighing in at an amazing 5lbs 13oz.

Introducing little princess poppy!

Nothing cuter than a curled up sleeping newborn.

And we couldn’t leave out her big brother…  I love me some sibling love.

In home newborn sessions are quickly becoming my favorite type of session to do.

I must admit that for a while there, I was feeling a bit uninspired with the same old ‘baby in a basket’ newborn session. Don’t get me wrong, babies in baskets are precious, and I still do those types of sessions all the time when requested, BUT my heart is really with these types of images.

For me, nothing evokes emotion like a new families love.

I know a lot of you mamas out there are thinking,  ’Who wants to be photographed just days after giving birth?!’

The answer-YOU DO!

Because a new mother radiates absolute happiness, and within that happiness, there is a pure and natural beauty that cannot be replicated.

To all you brand new mama’s, I cannot stress enough how important it is to include yourself in newborn portraits. I can promise that you will not regret it.

When your children grow older, I can guarantee, that the images of you with them will be there favorites!

I know they are mine…

Sometimes I get clients that I instantly feel a connection with.

This was one of those families.

I just adore everything about them. They are so sweet, kind, and loving.

I spent a lot of time at their home, because this sweet little baby girl was a bit older than most of the newborns that I photograph, and she was fighting off sleeping… big time.

Once she finally did doze off it was pure magic.

Their home was simply a dream come true for me, with all of the neutral colors and dreamy light.

We got some of my favorite family shots to date.

I am still swooning over this session weeks later.
